1. Introduction

Neural Vibe Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and in a manner that respects human rights. We do not tolerate modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour, child labour or exploitation in any part of our business or supply chains.

Neural Vibe Ltd is not a relevant commercial organisation for the purposes of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, as our annual turnover is below the statutory threshold of £36 million. However, we recognise the importance of the principles behind the legislation and have chosen to publish this statement voluntarily to describe our approach to ethical business practices and proportionate supply chain due diligence.

This statement sets out the steps Neural Vibe Ltd takes, and intends to continue taking, to reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

2. Organisation structure, business and supply chains

Neural Vibe Ltd is a UK-registered micro business providing specialist consultancy and advisory services in healthcare AI, digital health, medical device compliance, regulatory strategy, information governance, cyber security, quality management and assurance.

We operate a remote-first business model. We do not operate manufacturing facilities, warehouses, laboratories or physical offices. Our registered office is a virtual and postal address. Our team consists of directors and a small number of regular contractors who work remotely.

Our supply chain is relatively simple and low complexity. It primarily consists of:

  • cloud hosting and digital infrastructure providers;
  • software-as-a-service and productivity tools;
  • AI service providers;
  • IT hardware and equipment suppliers;
  • professional services providers, including accountants and legal or advisory services;
  • website, hosting and administrative service providers; and
  • occasional travel and business support services.

We do not manufacture products, operate high-volume labour supply chains, use agency labour for manual work, or source raw materials directly.

3. Policies and governance

Neural Vibe Ltd is committed to maintaining appropriate policies and controls to support ethical, lawful and responsible business operations.

Our approach to modern slavery and ethical supply chain management is supported by the following principles:

  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • zero tolerance of modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and exploitation;
  • fair and respectful treatment of employees, contractors and suppliers;
  • proportionate supplier due diligence based on risk;
  • preference for reputable suppliers with appropriate ethical, environmental and security commitments;
  • escalation of concerns where unethical practices are suspected; and
  • annual review of this statement and related controls.

As Neural Vibe Ltd grows, we will continue to formalise and strengthen our policies, supplier review processes and governance arrangements.

4. Due diligence in our business and supply chains

Because Neural Vibe Ltd is a small, remote-first consultancy business with a limited and mainly professional services supply chain, our modern slavery risk is assessed as low. However, we recognise that risk can exist indirectly, particularly in technology supply chains and outsourced services.

Our proportionate due diligence approach includes:

  • using reputable and established suppliers wherever possible;
  • reviewing supplier suitability before engagement, taking account of the nature of the service and the potential risk profile;
  • giving preference to suppliers that publish modern slavery, sustainability, security or ethical trading commitments where relevant;
  • monitoring suppliers where concerns arise;
  • ensuring contractors are engaged on clear contractual terms;
  • avoiding the use of suppliers where there is credible evidence of forced labour, trafficking, exploitation or serious unethical practice;
  • reviewing higher-risk categories, including IT hardware, cloud services, outsourced labour and subcontracted delivery, as the business grows; and
  • escalating and addressing concerns promptly if identified.

For lower-risk suppliers, such as mainstream SaaS, cloud, professional services and administrative providers, due diligence is proportionate to the scale and nature of the relationship.

5. Risk assessment

Neural Vibe Ltd considers the overall risk of modern slavery within its direct operations to be low because:

  • the business is remote-first;
  • personnel are professional consultants and contractors;
  • there are no manufacturing or warehousing activities;
  • there is no use of manual labour supply chains;
  • there are no company-owned physical premises requiring facilities labour;
  • there is no direct sourcing of raw materials; and
  • most suppliers are professional services, cloud, SaaS or technology providers.

The areas where some indirect risk may exist are:

  • IT hardware and electronics supply chains;
  • outsourced services, if used in the future;
  • cloud and data centre supply chains;
  • business travel and accommodation providers; and
  • any future subcontracting arrangements involving third-party personnel.

Neural Vibe Ltd will manage these risks through proportionate supplier review, preference for reputable suppliers, clear contractor engagement processes and periodic review of this statement.

6. Effectiveness and monitoring

Neural Vibe Ltd will monitor the effectiveness of its approach through proportionate measures suitable for a micro business. These include:

  • annual review of this statement;
  • review of supplier and contractor arrangements where relevant;
  • monitoring whether any modern slavery concerns, complaints or incidents have been raised;
  • reviewing higher-risk suppliers or supply categories as the business grows;
  • maintaining clear accountability for ethical business practices; and
  • updating policies and due diligence processes where risks change.

At the date of publication of this statement, Neural Vibe Ltd is not aware of any modern slavery or human trafficking concerns within its business or supply chains.

7. Training and awareness

Given the size and nature of Neural Vibe Ltd, formal modern slavery training is proportionate to role and risk. Directors and contractors are expected to understand the company's zero-tolerance position on modern slavery and human trafficking and to escalate any concerns relating to unethical labour practices, exploitation or supplier conduct.

As the company grows, Neural Vibe Ltd will provide additional awareness and guidance where appropriate, particularly for personnel involved in procurement, supplier management, subcontracting or international delivery.

8. Future commitments

Neural Vibe Ltd will continue to develop its approach to modern slavery and ethical supply chain management. Planned actions include:

  • reviewing this statement at least annually;
  • strengthening supplier onboarding and supplier review processes as the business grows;
  • adding modern slavery and ethical supply chain considerations to relevant supplier checks;
  • maintaining preference for reputable suppliers with appropriate ethical and sustainability commitments;
  • reviewing higher-risk supply categories, including IT hardware and outsourced services; and
  • ensuring that any future subcontracting arrangements include appropriate expectations around legal compliance, ethical working practices and prevention of modern slavery.

9. Approval

This statement has been approved by Neural Vibe Ltd and will be reviewed at least annually.
